A monthly photo print subscription

Printing and posting ten 4×6 prints costs us $11.70. Stripe takes $0.71 of the $14. What is left — $1.59 in a plain month, about $19.08 across a first year — runs the servers. We are not marking prints up ten times and calling it a membership.

That margin is why the product is ten prints and not twenty, and why there is no bigger tier to upsell you to. There is nothing else on the bill: no credits, no print tiers, no add-ons at the checkout.

Cancel in any month, in Settings, at no charge. Pausing is a separate switch and only stops the monthly emails — the membership keeps billing — so cancel if you want the charges to stop.

• You want the lowest price per print. A big lab beats us, often by a lot. Use one.
• You want a book on a shelf. A photo book subscription fills 30 to 60 pages a book where we send ten prints.
• You want everything printed. We send ten a month. Ten is the point, not a limit we hope you will pay to lift.
• You back up only to iCloud. Shoebox reads photos through Google Photos today, so there would be nothing for us to see.
• You live outside the United States and Canada. That is where we post to, and nowhere else yet.

Nothing stops you ordering prints today. Most people never do. Not because it costs much or takes long — because no day makes it happen. A subscription sets that day and puts a small deadline on it.

That is the whole product. If you already order prints twice a year and enjoy choosing them, you do not need us, and a big lab will print them cheaper.

You choose what Shoebox can see, month by month, inside Google's own picker. We cannot browse your library.

The curator is a model we run on our own server. No photo ever goes to an AI company, and nothing you send us trains anything. Print-quality copies sit encrypted only until the lab confirms it has them, then we delete them. We keep no photo library. The privacy policy says exactly how.
